Calming tallow lotion
Whipped tallow lotion is deeply nourishing and moisturizing! But what is it exactly? Tallow is rendered fat of a beef animal, specifically the fat around the kidneys! Tallow is nothing new, in fact tallow was a common cooking fat at the start of the 20th century but was replaced by crisco in 1911 due to marketing saying it was a "healthier" option. Fast forward to the last few decades and tallow has had a comeback and many people today are starting to realize just how amazing it is not just for cooking, but also for the skin!
